IBM Global Business Services is looking for a work student as Support for the Cluster Support FSS (Financial Services Sector) of GBS. We're looking for candidates who would like to work part-time 60-70 % during their studies at a Swiss university or applied science school.
While this position is predominately a practice group support function, you may also get the opportunity to participate in some client consulting projects, for which appropriate appearance is desired. This job includes manifold responsibilities, ranging from:
· Project support on banking opportunities:
- Collection of project references
- Preparation of internal and external presentations
- Orchestrating communication between different stakeholders
- Execution of supporting administrative work
- Assisting project team members in ad-hoc tasks
- Sales and proposal support
- Marketing and communication support to further penetrate the client with IBM success stories
· Operations & Finances
- Monitoring of Banking CH Signings & Revenue
- Monitoring Status Quo of Banking Opportunities
- Further operations support (i.e. Pricing)
· Events
- Collection of information material on industry events
- Research on additional marketing / networking opportunities in the banking industry
- Prioritization of industry events
- Preparation of materials to support decision-making
· Meetings/Calls
- Execute internal administrative work surrounding meetings / calls
- Prepare internal presentations for meetings
This position and role will give you the opportunity to work as a team member for Global Business Services, the consultancy unit of IBM and gain practical experience, knowledge and skills from the largest consulting company in the world. Ideally you are studying either technology management, innovation management, business administration, computer science or economics.
Required skills include:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good time management skills.
· Ability to work independently in a team environment
· Strong analytical skills, with capability demonstrated to apply logic reasoning to solve problems
· Strong in MS-Office, especially with PowerPoint and Excel
· Ability to create visually impacting and user-centric documents (e.g. presentations)
· Written and spoken fluency in German (absolute must) and English
You are a student, enrolled in a Swiss university or University of applied science and you possess Swiss Civil Right or a residence permit.
