The Role

The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering, and managing the hotel's training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and passion for training, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement training programs for all departments of the hotel.

· Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop customized training programs for their team members

· Conduct training sessions and workshops to build employees’ skills and knowledge required to perform their job duties effectively

· Plan, implement and monitor, company’s compliance training, general/core and Management Training.

· Certify and coach departmental trainers to maintain operational training quality and consistency.

· Continuously evaluate training programs to ensure they are effective and relevant, and make adjustments as necessary

· Develop training materials and resources, including manuals, guides, and videos

· Maintain accurate records of employee training and development, and use this information to identify areas for improvement

· Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date with trends in hospitality training

· Plan and continuously maintain trainees and interns, to further support both the community initiative, hotel schools, and the hotel’s recruitment needs.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  2-3 years of experience in hospitality learning & development
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills
·  Understanding of hotel operations.
·  Knowledge of adult learning principles
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
