JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The employees of the tax accounting team are dealing with all tax-related accounting topics. This activity is aimed to support on-going operations of Allianz Technology with a focus on monthly, quarterly and annual closings. In addition the tax accounting team provides support with regard to tax (VAT) filings, documentations and tax audits.

Responsibility for ongoing tax audit documentation
Responsibility for tax accounting with regard to monthly, quarterly and annual closing
Responsibility for AP / AR quality assurance with a focus on tax accounting (tax keys, tax accounts)
Preparation of monthly VAT returns, EC sales list, Intrastat
Software-based management of input VAT
Documentation of extraordinary business transactions
Facilitating tax trainings for other accounting teams located in the branches worldwide
Providing support to the central tax team of Allianz (Group Tax) especially in the context of tax audits and projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualification as an accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter, m/w) or tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter, w/m) or a degree in economics, law or equivalent subject
Admission as certified tax advisor (Steuerberater, m/w) or equivalent qualification desirable but not required
Professional experience of at least 3 years acquired in company and / or consulting firm
Very good German and English skills
Very good MS Office knowledge, SAP knowledge and experience with tax technology is a great advantage
High level of initiative, communication skills and teamwork
