JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis and visualization of (esp. unstructured) data from internal and external sources using information extraction and text mining to identify new business potentials
Development, prototyping and evaluation of artificial intelligence algorithms using natural language processing, esp. the development of chatbots
Close collaboration with IT and project partners on the implementation of analytics solutions
Target group specific preparation and communication of results to the top management
Active knowledge exchange and transfer within the team and within the company
Research and exploration of new innovative state of the art methods
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Outstanding university degree in computer linguistics, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics or natural sciences; ideally with PhD
Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in computer linguistics (natural language processing), statistical methods, machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence
Very good knowledge and practical experience in relevant programming languages like R, Python, Matlab or Java as well as SQL
Distinct practical experience in the development of computer language systems like chatbots and virtual assistants
Proven experience in the analysis and visualization of large unstructured data sets
High competence in conceptual work and development of innovative approaches
Strong communication skills, a confident manner and assertiveness
Quick perception and solution-oriented and economic thinking and acting
Ability to communicate complex analytical and technical content to a non-specialist audience
High degree of self-organization, individual responsibility and decisiveness
Extraordinary team orientation and ability to work flexibly and creatively
High ability to learn and to adapt new methods, motivation, ability to work under pressure and perseverance (also under time pressure)
Willingness to travel
Fluent written and spoken English, German proficiency is a plus
