The Eurofighter is a modern and innovative aircraft which is jointly produced by four countries and we are constantly modernizing our product to match our client's needs. In the simulation department you are responsible that future pilots get the most possible accurate training. Furthermore you support the aircraft development departments by providing a virtualized environment of the aircraft.

At this position you can expect to find the following tasks

·  Derive system requirements from operational requirements for new simulator functionalities
·  Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities
·  Develop Simulation models representing A/C LRIs within the simulation
·  Document design in enterprise architect
·  Implement software modules (mainly C++)
·  Create and perform unit tests of Software modules
·  Perform integration testing of produced software modules

Required skills

You should bring the following skills

·  Successful study of computer science or comparable
·  Knowledge in the aerospace domain (flight dynamics, avionics, simulation, simulators) is an advantage.
·  Experience in object oriented software design and simulation models
·  Experience object orientated programming C++
·  Experience in integration testing of developed software module
·  .Experience in MIDS protocol
·  Very good knowledge of C++, XML, Subversion SVN, GIT, Jira, Bitbucket, Linux
·  Knowledge of Enterprise Architect or any other SySMl, UML Tool and ADA is an advantage
·  Ability to develop software for different hardware setups
·  Fluent in English
