Job Description

·  Complete requirements for month-end close process inclusive of Book reconciliations, Current Month Accrual, PPA’s entering of journal entries, etc.;
·  Perform in monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
·  Perform daily interface from the Invoice Management System(IMS) to the Accounting System (SUN)
·  Enter, reconcile, and report activities for other legal entities attached to the Company
·  Perform quarterly intercompany reconciliations
·  Prepare Quarterly and Annual Audit Request
·  Provide analysis on Trading-related tax impacts
·  Assist in Trading Accounting related system/process improvement projects
·  Serve as a back-up for Sr. Trading Control Accountant
·  Support Trading Control Supervisor in responsibilities and various projects or Ad Hoc requests

Candidate profile

·  Undergraduate degree in accounting required.
·  Three to five years’ experience in an accounting; Preferably in Energy Trading
·  Strong interpersonal skills;
·  Ability to work independently with limited supervision;
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mastery of Pivot tables).
