The goal of the Business Operations team is to drive the scalability of the organization to ensure that we can meet ambitious targets as rapidly as possible. As a member of our team, you will help to shape the direction of our products. You must have a deep passion for delivering products that will fundamentally change the world’s energy infrastructure.

The Role:

As Demand Planner, you will have a multi-faceted role. You will provide accurate forecasts on our energy products demand to the entire global organization, you will be the link between the commercial, operations, supply chain, manufacturing teams. You will work on new market entries, and you will provide ad-hoc management for new projects that require coordination between multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

1/ Build and maintain forecasting tools to provide insights on our demand to multiple teams:

·  Provide the Gigafactory production and supply chain teams with accurate inputs on the specificities of our medium to long term demand
·  Inform the executive team on our ability to meet production, demand and revenue targets
·  Keep business operations and sales teams updated on our delivery forecast
·  Collaborate with the finance team to maintain our revenue forecast

2/ Work with IT teams to enhance our system capabilities and reporting tools, to improve team efficiency and sustain our ambitious growth objectives

3/ Work on our new market entry strategy:

·  Analyze the impact of market entries on demand plans
·  Help coordinate new market rollout across multiple teams

4/ Coordinate multiple sales, engineering and operation teams when new projects arise, such as:

·  Managing changes to our existing products and their implications for our pipeline of orders
·  Mitigating impact of production constraints on demand

Preferred Background

·  Deep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid
·  BS/MS in engineering or technical field
·  Knowledge of battery systems, Power conversion, and grid systems is a plus
·  Preferred: work experience in management consulting or corporate strategy
·  Preferred: experience in forecasting and/or demand planning
