T he VIE is an international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union citizens. In addition, the candidate cannot come from the country hosting the mission.

Main missions

1/ Leverage strategic suppliers to meet projects' Cost, Quality and Time To Market objectives

2/ Impulse Partnerships & Innovation with suppliers (promote suppliers' early involvement in projects, know and leverage their capabilities, formulate performance-based specifications rather than means, etc.)

3/ Manage cost target (cost analysis, negotiations, understanding of project financials)

4/ Master Procurement staples & processes (strategic intent, supplier selection, risk analysis, deliverables, etc.)
5/ Comprehend project Supply Chain stakes, beyond Procurement only (stock policy, customer logistic offer, upstream flows, make or buy, etc.)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Education: industrial engineering / purchasing

Technical Field: materials science (plastic, metals)

Work experience needed: 2 years minimum

Requested languages (marked as bilingual, fluent, well known, basic knowledge): English, Chinese is a strong plus
