EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Are you a virtuoso in web programming? Do you love to develop web applications and know HTML5, JavaScript and CSS like the back of your hand?
As Developer on our team, you will be working with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues. Our development process follows the principle of continuous integration, and we use the latest tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and JIRA with custom-tailored extensions in conjunction with in-house developed software. On our team you will develop and improve our on premise and cloud analytics applications development frameworks, as well as cooperate with product management, user interface designers and field colleagues to deliver the best software solutions and user experiences for our customers.
On a usual day you will...

·  develop and improve our analytics application development frameworks using JavaScript and SAP UI5 on top of our cutting edge technology, SAP HANA and SAP BW
·  discuss and elaborate solutions to technical as well as business-related questions in close collaboration with your team members and other teams
·  write unit tests for your code and define end-to-end tests for the solution

·  work closely with our designers to provide our customers with fresh, friendly, and elegantly simple components and functional extensions no matter their function or role within the solution
·  engage with our field team to better understand the needs and workflows of the end users, and collaborate on concepts for new functionality

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills

·  Excellent university degree (bachelor, master, diploma, PhD) in computer science or related fields like software engineering, physics or mathematics. Similar qualifications are welcome as well
·  Excellent comprehension, willingness and ability to learn new subject matters quickly (technology and business related)
·  First hands-on experience with programming in HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
·  Flexible team player with good interpersonal skills
·  Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written

Preferred skills

·  Programming skills in Java is an advantage
·  Knowledge of the OLAP, Analytics or the Business Intelligence domain is an advantage
·  Basic understanding of software architecture & design principles
