PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Globalization Services (GS) acts as ‘One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers’ for all globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation.

 

The department consists of more than 20 nationalities representing. Development Units (GS CI Fin AG) are located in Germany, China, India, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel and Portugal.
The department language is English.

Desired profile

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

We’re looking for an experienced developer joining our localization financial development scrum teams, especially for the Business Suite / ERP Financial.

·  Analysis and specification of business requirements
·  Modeling, design, implementation and test based on SAP’s programming model
·  Maintenance and corrections
·  Collaborate with other development teams and product management colleagues at Globalization Services who provide localization requirements.
·  Responsibility to ensure high quality (create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, code reviews)
·  Be a part of an agile (SCRUM) development team

Required skills

·  Degree in computer or natural science or equivalent subject
·  Excellent analytical and architectural skills
·  Very good powers of comprehension, high quality commitment and self motivating working style
·  Ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in new areas, especially in technologies
·  Very good communication skills; fluent English and German
·  Constructive and open style of communication
·  Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures

 

Preferred skills

·  Globalization & Localization experience
·  Adaptation of standard software
·  Knowledge and expertise in delivery processes at Globalization Services

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  3  or more years experience in SAP application development (ABAP / ABAP OO, UI, modeling and design)
·  Experience in Business Suite applications like SAP ERP Financials/FI/FI-CA
·  Proven track of successful project/product performance regarding customer satisfaction, quality deliverables and in time delivery
·  LEAN thinking
·  Scrum / Agile development experiences
