Manufacturing Technicians participate in all aspects of production processes including but not limited to loading raw materials, operating SPC Lens Inspection, SAP final record review, operating secondary packaging equipment, performing lot changes, improving yields, using calibrated measurement equipment, troubleshooting and using support equipment such as sterilizers and tool drums.
Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments, and conduct Autonomous Maintenance and 5s duties. Monitor processes to ensure quality product is produced, perform corrective actions as necessary. Perform in-process product quality checks. Optimize maximum process efficiency and take action for continuous improvement. Participate in natural work groups to define problems and implement solutions. Work with engineers to execute equipment validations. Cross train and train others on other areas of Dailies Total 1 production.
High school diploma or equivalent. The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. No experience required.
