General Description
Responsible for managing and tracking wireless products' HW performances. SEA environment is fast paced so ability to prioritize, be flexible and react quickly is a must. This position will interface with cross-functional teams and Carriers to provide engineering support for the new wireless product development, validation of new features and technologies, spanning from the Lab entry phase through product launch. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will: • Responsible for collecting and help R&D to analyzing HW performance data from 3rd party and Carriers' lab. Field test. • Must have capability to captures various system logs and support R&D to debug HW related problem. • Able to demonstrate technical leadership to client, R&D 3rd party lab, contractors and teammates. • Identify gaps in test scope coverage, define new performance tests or replace existing ones. • Work with cross-functional teams and clients (strategic carriers) to drive , keep track of HW performance issues( QC defects) and provide feedback to R&D to improve quality of products from HW side. • Ability to arrange and lead HW performance annual workshop with Carrier/Clients.

Desired profile

Necessary Skills / Attributes
• A Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Computer engineering or related four-year college or university or heavy related on the job training at a significant level. College degree with relevant experience can be considered. • 3+ years' relevant industry experience with HW back ground would be a great benefit. • Prior management or technical experience with strategic carriers or with other US carrier is huge advantage. • Experience with USCC,Tracfone Verizon, Comcast regulatory requirements and process knowledge of wireless consumer devices, including FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, etc. • Knowledge of LTE, VoLTE,5G and other new RF feature technologies (4x4 MIMO, 256QAM,TM 9) is desirable from HW prospective. • Expertise in capturing and basic log analysis by using QXDM, QCAT and N-Next tools is preferable. • RF testing (field and lab testing) experience on Handset, Tablet, wearable and IOT products. • Willing to travel around 10% domestic/International. • Excellent Communication Skills Required, Both Written & Verbal. • Detail oriented - taking data, using Excel, and making meaningful tables/graphs/averages. • Laser-focused on the smallest details that are important to client. • Comfort and ability to use all types of electronic lab test equipment is plus • Demonstrate ability to diagnose and solve performance problems • Positive attitude even under pressure, multi-tasking, self-started and team player. • English-Korean bilingual is not mandatory but beneficial.
