Business Intelligence Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst, to join our winning team at Roche Diagnostics.

Reporting to the Head of Business Analysis, your mission will be to assist all levels of leadership in making accurate, fact-based decisions by utilizing data management concepts and advanced analytics skills to turn data from across the businesses into timely, accurate, and actionable information.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will:

·  Transform/combine different data sources to create customized reports (including KPIs/dashboards); validate and maintain large dataset to ensure its accuracy;
·  Design and set up data clean up processes and drive the automation/standardisation of management information reports; Own the reporting process for finance and proactively look for initiatives and improvements to the process
·  Support the Business Analysis team in providing accurate and insightful reporting to sales and marketing teams, whilst adding value through proactive analysis and recommendations; also training users to understand the business KPIs
·  Be responsible for master data relating to sales reporting: troubleshooting and resolving data and technical issues, assisting with system upgrades and testing, and performing routine data reconciliation and documentation

You will possess an academic degree in business studies or within a quantitative discipline such as statistics, economics, finance, or operations research.

You will have demonstrated data integration, querying, and analysis skills and have a track record in delivering complex data analysis to sales and marketing teams. You must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables and formulas in addition to basic knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce.com would be advantageous).

The successful Business Analyst / MI Analyst ideally have worked in a large-scale global corporation working to improve MI output across Accounting and Finance systems. You will have experience of working with data warehouses as well as front end reporting functionality and may have gained exposure to tools such as Tableau (preferred), Qlikview, Cognos,Business Objects.

You will have excellent critical thinking skills and be able to demonstrate systems thinking, data reconciliation and attention to detail. The candidate should have very strong communication abilities.

You will have strong problem solving expertise – Identifying and resolving problems in timely manner; Gathering and analysing information skillfully and developing alternative solutions.
