Heritage & Patrimony Trainee

Job description

For our HQ in Milan, we are searching for an Heritage&Patrimony Trainee.

 

What do we expect from you?

 

Our ideal candidate will support the various activities followed by the Heritage Team, in particular:

 

·  Uploading images to the new photo archiving software, filling in the catalographic sheet regarding copyright and attaching releases (e.g. publications, photo shoots ...);
·  By creating short caption in Italian and English describing the images;
·  By contributing to the main digitization activities in progress: product sheets, historical and current drawings, plaster casts, photographs, catalogues;
·  By supporting the uploading procedure of historical objects repurchased from auctions or private individuals.

 

Do you match this profile?

 

·  Degree in Communication, Cultural Heritage, or similar;
·  Good creative writing skills;
·  Minimal archiving experience;
·  Good knowledge of Photoshop and the Office package;
·  Propensity for data entry activities;
·  Accuracy and organisational autonomy;
·  Excellent knowledge of the English language.
