about the role

The Sr Business Performance Analyst will need to interact with colleagues in various parts of the business to define, design and develop analytic solutions to improve optimization and mitigate risks to operational performance indicators. He will be required to create standardized tools to obtain relevant data from the organization’s multiple sources [data base] for the purposes of data reporting and analysis and thereby develop and maintain complex analytical reports and dashboards.

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Interact with operations teams to understand business requirements, and implement/validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks/KPIs
·  Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose ensuring that data is accessible for performance reporting purposes
·  Implement and support a data factory that standardizes the data ingestion, cleaning, data quality controls and integration processes.
·  Systematically establishing SQL views to facilitate the management of operational and strategic performance indicators.
·  Work within and across agile teams to develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions for data acquisition and dissemination.
·  Make sure data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy, and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data
·  Be an ambassador for analytics, supporting others to improve and interpret data and are included throughout the product and content life cycles

about you

Qualifications

·  An undergraduate Degree or equivalent.

Knowledge/Experience

·  An understanding of performance management and how performance indicators can be used within an organisation
·  An understanding of the analysis and interpretation of data and its application in a business context.
·  Excellent MS Excel and MS Powerpoint knowledge and skills
·  Well-versed in PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL and Javascripts
·  Extensive experience of using SQL, particularly for reporting purposes.
·  Experience of providing information systems to a variety of audiences.

Skills and abilities

·  adept at extracting, manipulating, validating and monitoring performance data from a range of datasets.
·  Being able to interpret data and create visuals on performance and trends is a must.
·  Self motivated and pro-active, with ability to work autonomously, but also as part of a team.
·  Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to communicate technical matters, both verbally and in writing, to non-technical members of staff.
·  Strong time and capacity management skills; able to work across the organisation on multiple projects simultaneously, managing expectations and prioritising workloads.
·  Adaptable to change; able to respond to shifting requirements and priorities
·  Well organised and structured approach to work with good attention to detail.
·  Project management skills
