Job description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications :

As part of the Oracle PLM EMEA Practice your role will be to work with customers to analyse, design and implement PLM solutions – as part of the Supply Chain. You will be providing PLM process expertise and advising customers on the most appropriate configuration approaches to support their business as well as best practices from their industry. You will be part of a highly motivated and growing team where teamwork and knowledge sharing are key. Products and technologies used include our SaaS Offerings for Innovation Management, Product Development, Product Hub, Project Portfolio and Quality Management – as also our PaaS Technology to integrate with the SaaS components.

General Responsibilities

·  Develop detailed solution designs to meet customers' business needs.
·  Install and configure PLM solutions to support the customer's business needs.
·  Advise customers on potential risks and mitigations.
·  Prepare documentation detailing the solution configuration.
·  Optimize the system configuration per customer feedback.
·  Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.
·  Acts as a liaison between customers and ORACLE.
·  Support communication of customer feedback to the ORACLE product development team.
·  Support national and international project rollouts.

Additional Responsibilities

·  Define and implement Solution Sets to cover Industry specific Requirements based on our True Cloud Methodology.

Background & Skills

·  Technical knowledge in the following areas of Software Development:
·  Oracle Database Systems and Languages (SQL, PL/SQL, …)
·  Java-Implementation / Groovy Scripting
·  Webservice Implementation
·  Infrastructure Knowledge (Security, LDAP, SSO, …)
·  XML/XSL - Implementation
·  Middleware/Integration Knowledge (BPEL, …)
·  Experience with MS Office Products
·  Confident and effective communication skills with project team members, partners and end users.
·  Energetic and motivated contributor.
·  Able to work independently.
·  Advanced English language skills, fluency in German

Education

·  Bachelor or Master degree in computer science.
