Job Summary:

The Warranty & Systems Administrator is a general administration position within LME Customer Support.

Working in collaboration with the Sr. Warranty and Systems Administrator, the Regional Customer Support Manager’s (RCSM), Department Managers and the Product Support team, the position will support the administration of the transactional requirements of the Warranty process, along with any associated administrative support activities.

Essential Job Duties:

· Supports the compilation and analysis of affiliate warranty claims in compliance with Warranty Policy
· Supports the compilation and analysis affiliate component claims for compliance with Warranty Policy
· Audits and in conjunction with the Regional Customer Support Manager determines warranty eligibility of all claims sent to LME for reimbursement.
· Coordinates supplier warranty claims for defective warranty items to recover warranty expense.
· Collaborates with the Sr. Warranty and Systems Administrator, the RCSM’s, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance Departments as well as international Liebherr affiliates with finding appropriate resolutions for identified defective parts.
· Monitors and works with outside suppliers/vendors to recover warranty claim expenses.
· Maintains systems to audit pending warranty claims and records basic claim and credit information to determine and report claims’ status.
· Facilitates return goods shipments for Warranty and Service items
· Supports general service administration projects, including but not limited to, Standard Actions, Machine Modifications and Customer service information publications.
· Facilitates Customer support invoicing and quoting activities, while maintaining accurate records for managerial reporting.

· Job Skills: Applies the required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) in the performance of essential job duties:
· Working knowledge of Infor LN, LISA II and PC proficient, working knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
· Demonstrated initiative to visualize, organize, manage, and complete detailed projects.
· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
· Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
· Ability to identify and improve effectiveness by implementing new ideas and more efficient approaches

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:

· Interface with and travel to customer or supplier sites domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time, requiring occasional overnight travel.
· Ability to obtain and maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration certification (MSHA).
· Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
