The HyCO Product Line hosts the technologies SMR, Partial Oxidation (GasPOX), Amine Wash CO2 Removal (OASE) and Large Electrolysis. The Product Line is mainly located in Frankfurt (Technology, Product & Solution Development) with further locations in Shanghai (Standard Plants), Houston (Solution Development) and Krakow (Project Execution).
Calculate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of large scale Hydrogen production based on electrolysis and potential future renewable technologies. New developments shall provide lower overall cost and lower emissions per hydrogen molecule produced.
Available electrolysis technologies on the market shall be inquired and compared in terms of technical maturity, development potential, OPEX, CAPEX.
Integration of electrolysis technologies into current hydrogen and syngas production units shall be investigated.
The potential of new technologies currently studied in academy shall be assessed, e.g. new membrane material, larger stack size, higher energy density, high pressure/temperature electrolysis or electrocatalysis.
Finally the comparison of new innovations to existing technologies will provide a solid basis for the selection of developments.
? Comparison of electrolysis vendor products
? Electrolysis integration options
? New products or components and their market potential
? Comparison to existing technologies
