About the job

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
·  To ensure and maintain an organized, visually appealing and welcoming IKEA store that the visitors will return for more visits.
·  To apply your skills and knowledge to create and develop the visual appearance of commercial and        aesthetic range presentation solutions to strengthen the IKEA store’s position as the leading Home         Furnishing Specialist in our local market.
·  To use the knowledge of people's needs and dreams in the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitor's expectations.
·  To keep visitors in mind when working on the shop floor, minimise disruption and remain aware at all times of the importance of safety and the visual impact for visitors. 
·  Toactively contribute to the department’s action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability and execute the agreed plans in close co-operation with other functions. YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  At least 3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising in the retail industry.
·  Expert in providing home furnishing solutions for life at home, creative, commercial and having an eye for aesthetics, you always have a desire to make a difference.
·  Cheerful, motivated, outgoing with a positive attitude, and an eye for detail.
