The team you’ll work with:
At the heart of HIVN Business finance, this Senior Business Partner role is critical in helping business set and achieve its OKRs. You will be owning important processes and relationships, influencing the business and interacting with Exco members.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone to learn about the HINV and the Innovation ecosystem and gain end to end understanding of HINV’s P&L, Balance Sheet and Business Drivers.  

What you can expect to be doing: 
Work with teams across HINV and HSBC finance and Innovation businesses to bring together a holistic view of HINV’s results across P&L, Balance sheet and Capital Metrics.
Responsible for monthly Flash, Exco and Board deliverables – identifying emerging trends, risks and Opportunities; 
Preparing Exco and Board updates.
Responsible for end to end forecast process (full entity review of P&L, Balances Sheet, Capital).  
Running monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and planning processes (FRP) for the HIVN entity and supporting the Group Internal Stress Test.
Developing sensitivities and scenarios to support achievement of business OKRs
Managing a complex stakeholder and governance map (Business and Business Finance Teams, Treasury, Financial Control, Exco, Board, HBUK, GCMB)
Support CEO office with updates on performance, OKRs and strategy .
Support ARA and External reporting.  

Requirements

The experience you need:
You must be a Chartered Accountant.
Significant experience in a complex, matrix organization required. 
Understanding of HSBC’s systems and processes advantageous. 
Experience in finance, Banking or Financial services experience required.
Experience of development and/or direct management of entity P&Ls and B/S 
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required for model development and executive level output and reporting.
Data & Analytics skills and experience to query, aggregate, validate, and summarize data accurately. 
Excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to understand and disseminate complex information, and be able to clearly explain background context and reasoning for decision making. Ability to write Board Level Reports, summarising complex issues.
Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Word, including think-cell.
Strong Relationship-Building and Collaboration Skills. The individual must proactively collaborate with partners across the organization, and work effectively with others to achieve the company’s business objectives. Must be willing to be held accountable to others in building best practice and due diligence for growing team.
The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand the demand and prioritization of multiple audiences. The individual should have a collaborative approach and a flexible style that allows for the input of others. The individual must share the core values of HSBC Innovation Banking.
