Responsibilities:

·       Lead or be member of the focal team to develop solution for sustaining engineering issues on mechanical/thermal related area.

·       Perform in-depth analysis of the mechanical related failure, ability to plan and conduct DOE to facilitate root cause analysis independently..

·       Improve and sustain product quality and throughput thorough understanding of overall DFx requirements, material quality, process capability and test strategy.

·       Perform mechanical spec and BOM review and provide technical support to other supply chain organizations.

·       Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on mechanical and thermal design and development.

·       Participates as a member of project team of other mechanical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.

Education and Experience Required:

·       Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·       Typically 3-6 year experience

Knowledge and Skills:

·       Good analytical and problem solving skills, 8D/FMEA experience.

·       Server or PC product mechanical/thermal design and requirements.

·       Understanding of design for sheet metal and plastic parts and associated production tooling and processes.

·       Understanding of thermal properties of materials and heat transfer.

·       Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

·       Experience in server or PC design or manufacturing will be added advantage.
