Job description

The HWS Group Sales Support - Asia Pacific (APAC) leads for the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to nurturing leads through the sales pipeline, increase multi-hotel demand, drive revenue and collaborating with sales teams and hotels to ensure the conversion of leads. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, with a proven track record in sales lead management. The tasks may also include assisting in creating SOP documents, setting up processes, maintaining data and reports, maintenance of HWS information in the various portals and liaising with stakeholders both internal and external (if required). You may also be assigned to a specific division within the HWS office and as such will then be responsible for other specific tasks that might be as and when required.
 
What will I be doing?

As the HWS Group Sales Support - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Planning Activities

  • Map out the optimal processes for all lead management processes (i.e. reactive group handling, non-customer facing while customer impacting)
  • Support in creating learning documents, playbook, refresher material and resource center for both Sales and Sales Support teams
  • Identify gaps and needs of the Lead Management team for improvements
  • Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reports templates
  • Generate reports as per the departmental reporting cadence

Organizing Activities

  • Utilize various tools and techniques to qualify leads and assess their potential for conversion
  • Maintain a database of leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective lead tracking and management
  • Coordinate and communicate with hotels and follow up on outstanding proposals/agreements
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to align lead management strategies with sales targets and objectives
  • Ensure relevant communication is properly executed proactively both within the team and also within the hotels
  • Maintain and update relevant reports
  • Coordinate any required administrative work in terms of reporting of figures, account forecasts within a given time frame
  • Manage hotel information centrally for the team
  • Coordinate collection of information for the various trackers (where relevant)
  • Assist and act as a liaison between the sales teams and hotels
  • Responsible for data and information on common drive
  • Monitor and analyze lead conversion rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to optimize conversion
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on the status of leads, sales trends, and performance indicators to the stakeholders

Directing Activities

  • Educating sales teams on lead management processes
  • Attend meetings with the sales team to discuss lead quality, lead conversion, and strategies for enhancing sales performance

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company:

  • Handling and delegating any ad hoc enquiries from non-managed accounts
  • Participate and attend relevant events and/or meetings where required
  • Liaise with the other HWS offices where appropriate
  • Assist other administrative functions when required and directed

  • Fluency in English and other Asian languages to support APAC market

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Hospitality industry experience in Sales and Marketing roles
  • In-depth knowledge of business sector management
  • Advance MS Excel skills and expert proficiency in Sales Systems (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi. FDC) and processes
