Annual Salary ranging from £22,000 to £25,000

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is now recruiting for a Food and Beverage Department Trainer and Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of all Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives as part of the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.  The role will also involve supporting the office function of the Food and Beverage department,


What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Trainer, you would be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and delivering all Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Review and assess performance needs in Food and Beverage and develop, update and make recommendations for training initiatives or other solutions
  • Track, input and maintain accurate training records in partnership with Human Resources
  • Ensure full compliance with Company training programs within Food and Beverage
  • Plan and conduct meetings with Food and Beverage Managers to track performance trends and prepare action plans and/or training initiatives, as needed
  • Ensure consistency of job skills training, the certification process and documentation
  • Greets internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records for the department
  • Prepares and types corresponded complex numerical/financial reports, as directed
  • Prepares correspondence on behalf of management
  • Duplicates, copies and distributes and mails material for the department/office
  • Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment
  • Maintains files and equipment in an orderly and professional manner
  • Uses the property's email system and maintains their email box, as is policy
  • Appropriate business use of telephone and voice email system
  • Handles requests from both internal and external, as appropriate
