What will I be doing? 

The Assistant Director of Sales – Middle East & Leisure is a proactive role within the sales team responsible for creating strong relationships with existing B2B wholesale partners, whilst proactively developing new, global business opportunities. This role also looks after all business originating from the Middle East including corporate and MICE opportunities. The ideal person will be engaging, love interacting with people and have a hunger for finding and closing new business. Typical tasks would include:

·       Analysis of market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads and grow market share, with a focus on increasing ADR, family and suite business

·       Be an ambassador for the largest Hilton outside of the US, representing the hotel on sales trips, at networking events and trade shows such as ATM, WTM & Sales Missions

·       Conduct sales research, presentations and sales activity via audio and virtual calls, hotel show rounds, entertaining clients, attending relevant office visits, client evenings and fam trips to build relationships and increase revenue

·       As a senior member of the sales team, assist the DOS to build revenue in line with hotel goals, train members of the sales team, and work closely with hotel operations to share knowledge about your segments and deliver high standards of service

What are we looking for?

An Assistant Director of Sales – Middle East & Leisure at Hilton London Metropole is focused on delivering the best experience to our guests and working collaboratively with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·       Proven track record in a similar role within the Sales sector with an established network of contacts and relationships in the Middle East and Leisure segments

·       Fluent in Arabic

·       Right to work in the UK, however opportunity to sponsor a visa for the right candidate

·       A team player, you will work closely with both our reservations, front desk and operational teams and Hilton Worldwide Sales above property teams. Your ability to connect with these teams to drive results will be a key driver in your success.

·       Positive attitude and resilience to finding new business in a competitive market

·       Excellent communication skills, both oral and written to clearly articulate the value proposition of the newly repositioned hotel

·       Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service

·       Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

·       Ability to work under pressure on simultaneous projects and under own initiative
