The "Data & Application Foundation" is a truly international team of experts along data science, data engineering, interface design, DevOps and solution architecture and development. The purpose is to leverage newest IT technologies, services and methodologies to design, build and run solutions and use cases that pay-in to Henkel's digitalization strategy. This ranges from data processing and analysis at largest scale, industry 4.0 topics, IoT consumer devises, process optimization and automation up the development of innovative solutions and apps.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or comparable education
·  At least 5 years' working experience in the area software solution architecture, software design and development
·  At least 3 years' experience in managing small to large software development teams
·  At least 2 years' practical experience in the design and implementation of elastically scaling software solutions utilizing cloud technologies and micro-services
·  Very good understanding of (big) data and modern data management platforms and a creative sense for data and what can we do with it
·  Excellent enterprise-level knowledge in the Java and/or .NET stack
·  Expert and up-to-date knowledge in at least one common programming language. e.g. Java, C#, C++, C or comparable
·  Good understanding of cloud technologies and modern computing concepts, e.g. Docker, Node, serverless etc
·  Fluent English skills
·  High level of self-motivation, excellent and pragmatic problem-solving skills
