CONSULTANTS SERVICES COMMODITY BUYER HF

Job description

Within the Contingent Workforce European team within IPS, as Commodity buyer you will be in charge of segments related to consultant services for Belgium, France & Sweden. These segments are classified as strategic and represent a large annual spend. It consists of buying engineering and/or IT consultants either on time and material approach or as work package (based on deliverables) in product development area, product and process as well as outsourced testing. Your will be working will all department related to the life cycle product but also all corporate functions. Your main tasks will be to work hand in hand with the other commodity buyers to deploy the segment strategy on European level, to drive all sourcing activities based on each new project, optimize total cost reducing over specifications, support strong recommendations towards the stakeholders, be a driver in changing from time and material to workpackage solution, You will be the full owner of your portfolio from sourcing up to supplier selection and agreement signature including strategic reasoning.

Responsability:
Select the supplier(s) base for appropriate cases
Drive the supplier sourcing
Work in close cooperation with the other commodity buyers and segment leader(s) of the segment(s) contributing to the global strategy,
Lead innovative solution inside the company in a total cost ownership approach
Negotiate challenging price and legal agreements
Drive changes in purchasing processes and stakeholders behavior
Close track performance of the suppliers
Be active in supplier quick and effective switch
Closely monitor the best practices available in the market
Competencies:
University/College graduated (Master Degree, business/economics is a plus)
Apprenticeship Experience is a plus
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
