Role Summary/Purpose

This Trainee Program for the Zubair Project is an investment in young talents where GE trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a GE business. This traineeship duration is 3 - 5 months and will develop the general skills of the trainee and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience during the construction of a Gas fired Power Plant Project.
Essential Responsibilities

Trainees will learn about different competencies needed to construct a Gas fired Power Plant Project covering EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), Quality, Construction Supervision (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical), Commissioning coordination and Materials Management.

Trainees are responsible for: for completion of all the assigned tasks in the given deadline. All tasks assigned are for the trainees own learning. The trainee is responsible to carefully perform the tasks he/ she has been assigned and keep their mentor updated about the progress of the task/ assignment.
Trainees are expected to maintain a professional attitude and show excellent listening skills whilst demonstrating good communication skills, confidence, problem-solving and an ability to develop and maintain relationships among colleagues and mentors
Qualifications/Requirements

During the traineeship, GE will provide assignments, projects & tasks that are related to his/her major where the trainee can develop their Leadership Capabilities, communication skills and introduce them to the work environment.
• Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering degree.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (essential).
