Role Summary/Purpose
The Global Engineering Support Engineer (m/f) provides remote technical support for the Centricity Cardio Workflow product to external and internal customers globally.
Essential Responsibilities
· Provide level 4 support to the regional Healthcare Digital Service Engineers (m/f) to facilitate the resolution of technical issues
· Perform analysis of determined incidents in support central system to establish root cause and develop knowledge of service teams to avoid repeated incidents
· Prepare statistical reports on existing cases in support central system (cases per month, time to close, engineering involvement, etc.)
· Manage multiple investigations with varying severity ensuring that problem/incident are prioritized
· Ensure global technical standards are met
· Build effective relationships with the service and engineering teams
· Proactively share knowledge, contributes to problem solution database and provision of product trainings to service/remote operation teams
· Work collaboratively with Centricity Cardio Workflow engineering team on investigation of incidents/problem investigations and provide input for service documentation and training
· Contribute to service initiatives, activities to enhance the service experience
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
· Knowledge of relational database systems such as MS SQL server
· Knowledge of Windows operating systems
· Good communication skills - written and oral
· Inspire confidence and communicate with customers from different levels in a professional manner
· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
· Strong analytical capability
· Ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadline
· Aptitude to define actions plans to execute issue resolution
Desired Characteristics
· Previous support experience of Cardiology IT solutions
· Knowledge of GE Healthcare products and the clinical environment they operate in
· Knowledge in clinical communication protocols like DICOM, HL7, FIHR,
· Software development experience, primarily C#,
· .Net
Experience in database administration, SQL profiling and SQL
