Role Summary/Purpose
Participate in the design of industrial x-ray, computed tomography and ultrasound systems at GE Inspection Technologies.
Essential Responsibilities
· Create and/or update electrical drawings
· Design electrical systems
· Write technical documents (User or Service Manuals, Assembly or Test Procedures …)
· Write, modify, test and validate PLC programs
· Create and maintain Material Master and Bill Of Material
· Support engineering group in any other aspects required
· Travel may be required to support customer and other GE sites
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
· Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent
· Experience with PLC programing
· Experience with ePlan software
· Basic understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
· Good communication skills in German and English both oral and written
Desired Characteristics
· Knowledge of GE Proficy PLC software
· Knowledge of Siemens Simatic Step7 PLC software
· Knowledge of Non Destructive Testing technology, especially Radiography equipment
· Experience working with High Voltage (300KV)
