Role Summary/Purpose

The student engineer will contribute to the development of devices to inspect on wing and off wing aircraft engine components. The student engineer will work closely with local functional engineers and US counterparts. Improvements proposals on current processes and tools are expected. Create new logic to improve processes and help the team to develop robotics, image processing techniques.
Essential Responsibilities

• Code, maintain and update the devices that are already released.
• Implement updates to accommodate changes in external systems, new data, and new user requirements.
• Have direct communication with US counter parts
• Lead status meetings and robots, image processing
• Create robust documentation
• Contact and gather customer requirements
Qualifications/Requirements

• PhD student in last 2 periods
• Proven programming experience in machine and deep learning techniques for image processing
• Excellent English communication skills
• Willing to learn new tools and new fields
• Ability to work in a global team
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities
