Our Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group – Frames Division is looking for a VIE Commodity Buyer for Metal parts (tubes, fasteners, springs …) for its site in Walbrzych – Poland.

As a Commodity Buyer you will be responsible for driving all necessary actions in order to achieve the best suppliers QCD performance (Quality, Cost & Delivery) by managing the global supplier’s relationship.
The main missions of the role are:
Structure the supplier panel and manage accordingly the relationship & negotiation
Prepare and deploy the Commodity Strategy & Cost Models
Ensure the overall supplier performance (QCD performance)
Manage supplier selection of the commodity segment and deploys it within the region
Proactive support of the Program core team during the Sourcing phase
Manage and drive productivity action plans in order to achieve the yearly requested savings in serial life
Initiate continuous improvement with the suppliers to support VA/VE (Value Added/Value Engineering) savings opportunities
The length of the VIE is 12 months.
The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world. The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master's degree in Business or Engineering
First experience, automotive knowledge is a plsu
Fluent in English
Positive energy and eager to deal with challenges with high level of autonomy
