Our Faurecia Interior System Division is looking for a VIE Junior Commodity Buyer for its site in Hagenbach (Germany).
The role of a Commodity Buyer is to build and manage a supplier panel for several commodities and ensure the overall productivity of the panel.
The main missions are:
- Structure the building of the panel: definition and implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to defined criteria and strategy
- Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the defined requirements
- Negotiate and implement general agreements with suppliers
- Ensure the reporting and forecast plannig following defined policies
- Support internal and external customers
- Support the Commodity Tooling & Equipment buyer
The length of the VIE is 12 months.
The V.I.E., an international young graduate program, enables young professionals who are less than 28 and European Union nationals to work for a French company in any country of the world. The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master's degree, in purchasing or engineering with a specialisation in international purchasing
- Buyer experience in an industrial environment
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
- International mind set, overseas experience a plus
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
