Full Stack Engineering Intern

AI Labs in Palo Alto, CA, under the leadership of the Global AI Leader, Nigel Duffy, is in the process of revolutionizing EY and the the auditing industry with the use of innovative approaches from the field of Artificial Intelligence. Here at AI Labs, we build truly scalable applications that leverage state of the art machine learning technologies targeted at solving complex real-world problems.

 

The AI Labs engineering team is looking for an intern with knowledge of full-stack development. The candidate will be assigned a mentor and will work with the AI labs engineering team to architect and develop full-stack applications. The candidate is expected to have development knowledge of frontend or backend technologies or both.

 

Roles and Responsibilities
·  Engineer large scale development systems using full-stack web-based technologies
·  Develop micro-services based backend services
·  Develop front-end applications using Angular
·  Implement test cases to automate testing of frontend and backend code.
·  Be a part of a highly productive and creative engineering team, working together to execute on the vision and the plan laid out for the team.

Skills Required
·  Ability to think critically, question assumptions and devise solutions to challenging technical problems.
·  Self-motivated, persevering and capable of working with minimal supervision.
·  Solid teamwork and communication skills.
·  Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies
·  Front-end: Angular, JavaScript
·  Back end web-services: Python, Java, Spring Boot,  Flask, Django
·  Good understanding of standards based Test Plan development and execution - Selenium, JMeter
·  Experience testing full stack applications with Microsoft Azure platform is a big plus.
·  Experience testing AI and machine learning applications is a big plus

Education Requirements
·  BS or MS in a Computer Science or related field.
