Job description

For our CFOSpace in Eschborn we are looking for a AV-Support Technician CFOspace (f/m) to support the embedded in-room Technology.The position will be located in the new GSA Enablement Function Business Technology. You will be working with use case owners and production teams to provide a full range of support for the productions in the CFOSpace and provide technical guidance on the operations. You will be using a variety of hardware and software to support multimedia presentations and train and educate the presenters. Daily duties will include problem resolution and following up with vendors of reported issues and maintaining adherence to stated delivery timelines. You will also act as a key escalation point for stakeholders and users of the service.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

·  Responsible for the functionality of the CFOSpace in Eschborn and meet Digital Media Service targets. Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
·  Basic programming to implement changes in CFOSpace ShowCases with regards to logos, videos, images, other data
·  Setup/Operate lab application such as Mentimeter, RealtimeBoard and others
·  Work closely with Vendors to assist Onsite- and Remote Access such as Realtime Department (Ventuz, Virtualisation) for ShowCase injection and Datavision for  CFOSpace Soft- and Hardware & technical installation
·  Issue Tracking and delegation to 1st, 2n and 3rd Level Support
·  Facilitate trainings for CFO Lab stakeholders
·  Establish documentation process and complete IT Operations Manual
·  Continuous reduction of complexity of the CFO Space IT environment
·  Risk Management: Implementation of Backup-Concept

 

Responsibilities for the role:

·  Be part of the team who decides on future EY digital architecture to enhance our customer service offering
·  Implement features, housekeeping and care for the technical quality of the CFO Space
·  Be able to take on initiatives and follow other requirements
·  Collaborate with service and show case owners to find the smartest solution
·  You will be able to influence which tools, programming languages, and technologies you work with.

 

Supervision Responsibilities:

·  Operates both internally and externally and on a local and global virtual basis to achieve results
·  Works with minimal supervision, linking in with Digital Media Services Lead as and when required
·  Delegates relevant processes and projects to other service lines, supervises and reviews results

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

·  Deep knowledge of disruptive digital media technologies
·  Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
·  Being able to work effectively in high stress environments
·  Proactive self-starter with a committed team oriented attitude
·  High problem-solving skills
·  Project management experience
·  Advanced MS Office skills preferred

 

Job Requirements:

·  A bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred
·  Experience with the operation of Multimedia Lab environments
·  Preferably an Informatics or a strong Digital Media background
·  Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
·  Proven ability to work and influence cross-functionally and geographically and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and departments
·  Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple project requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to detail
