We are looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer for our international development team located in our European Headquarters in Aachen, Germany.

The assignment is the development of controller products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry. The target platforms are state of the art micro controllers. The programming languages are C.

PC software in C# for Microsoft .NET environment to support our embedded products for monitoring and testing.

The Embedded Software Development Engineer is responsible for the design and development of the application software and the test of the software in-house or on customer sides.

The used communication protocols are Modbus, CAN and proprietary customer protocols. Knowledge about other communication protocols is an asset.

Desired profile

Requirements
·  Programming language: C required
Experience with other languages like C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, XML, XHTML or Ajax is an advantage.
·  C# in Microsoft .NET environment
·  Software Design rules (MISRA-C is an asset)
·  Communication Network protocols
·  Good general technical background is an asset
·  Microprocessor architecture
·  Hardware design knowledge of micro controllers.
·  Project life-cycle experience is an asset
·  Windows Office applications
·  Demonstrate fluent English language skills both written and verbal.
