In collaboration with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Decision Optimization experts you shape our customer experience by delivering analytical insights for personalizing our products, services and communication.

What will you do?

·  Employ sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods to prepare and analyze data for predictive modeling and thereby improve products for our customers
·  Make sure the architecture (e. g. relational and non-relational databases) supports analytical requirements and support bring them together with business demands
·  Set up and monitor processes to deal with and solve data related problems
·  Translate metrics and prototypes that can be used to drive business decisions at scale
·  Ongoing management/maintenance of (statistical) models; monitor, optimize and extend statistical models at scale

What will you need to succeed?

·  University degree in a quantitave field (mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, engineering, or related natural sciences)
·  Min. 1 year of relevant work experience, including machine learning, mathematical optimization and statistical data analysis (e. g. linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models and predictive modeling)
·  Professional experience in relational and non-relational data environments (e. g. SQL, noSQL, Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
·  Profound experience using SAS, Python, R, Scala or similar
·  Capability to solve complex tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment
·  Talent to think analytically and conceptually
·  Experience in the airline environment is a plus
·  Excellent language skills in English, German beneficial
