We are currently looking for a Business Analyst (focus on Business Intelligence) to join the IT team of Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt at the earliest possible date.

Our mission and responsibility is to provide Lufthansa Cargo with highly reliable and efficient IT systems. We use customized, modern IT solutions and state-of-the-art tools to ensure that our Cargo business runs smoothly at all times.

Be part of our IT team and play a vital role in ensuring smooth cargo operation world-wide:

·  You are responsible for designing, implementing and optimising suitable BI solutions for Lufthansa Cargo
·  You implement test and acceptance concepts covering all relevant business processes and including the commissioning of the application 
·  You design and coordinate relevant change management activities in cooperation with the process owner
·  You steer and monitor the performance of our internal and external providers
·  You consult the process owner during process analysis, process design and project portfolio planning

Desired profile

Your profile

·  University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, in science or engineering (bachelor required, master desirable) 
·  Extensive professional experience in the area of BI: profound knowhow and experience in data modelling (relational, cubes), analytics rsp. reporting and in BI tools such as IBM Cognos, Microstrategy or Talend
·  Experience in working in or managing large-scale projects
·  Fluent in English and German
·  Working experience in logistics industry desirable
·  Ability to think and act in a comprehensive and result-driven manner
·  Convincing and assertive appearance
·  Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
·  Dedication for both, working in teams as well as guiding colleagues
·  Ability to plan, coordinate and make decisions
·  Analytical and conceptual thinking
·  Ability to recognise and assess economical correlations
·  Ability to demonstrate flexibility and a high level of personal initiative
·  High level of resilience
·  Willingness to travel
