We are currently looking for a Hygienist to join our team at our production facility in Balclutha. You will be a part of our Production team helping with the cleaning to ensure that the Balclutha plant has no environmental contamination including chemical and microbiological within the factory environment. The purpose of this role is to promote a hygiene culture within the plant by taking the initiative to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness possible within the plant. 

The key focus for you will be a part of the Hygiene team in following internalprocedures, and trackers and encouraging high hygiene standards across the site to deliver high-quality products. You will assist in achieving our business goals through your ability to be alert, follow our procedures, and be a great team player. This vacancy is a permanent full-time, working Wednesday - Saturday, 5:30am - 3:30pm. Please note that this is a physical role that involves standing for long periods and some heavy lifting.

About you

Ideally, you will have:

·  The ability to ensure the cleaning of all areas is maintained to meet the Danone Standards.
·  To be able to work in a team environment.
·  To be able to communicate effectively.
·   Be physically fit.
·  Have good organization skills.
·  Self-starter with a passion and persistence
·  High levels of energy and commitment
·  Proven experience in chemical handling could be an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate.
·  High level of accuracy and sense of urgency
·  Basic computer skills
