Within the team 'Credit Solutions', we deliver IT application services for our customers in Daimler Financial Services for several entities worldwide. Together, with our business partner, we define and implement our credit operation strategies. Get on board and shape the future of the credit risk domain together with us.

Your tasks will be:
As responsible IT Application Architect & Technical System Owner (TSO), you will take over responsibility for the application architecture of the Credit Risk System as well as ensure stable system operations, 3rd level support and maintenance of the system.
The main functional blocks of the system are the Financial Analysis, the Rating, and the Credit Application Form.
You act as an interface between Enterprise Architecture, solution architecture and system development as well as system operations.
You will support the solution architects and the business partner in the implementation of new requirements while taking into consideration essential IT parameters like security, architecture, connectivity and performance.
You support the innovative implementation of requirements in an intercultural and interdisciplinary environment.
As professional consultant, you understand the guidelines of the enterprise architecture and transfer them into flexible and sustainable solutions for the Credit Risk System.
Here you always consider the demand of your customer, existing technologies and enterprise guidelines and define together with your business partner fitting solutions and processes.
You define and implement architecture blueprints and principles.
You are responsible for the solution design of the platform/application.
Selection and specification of applications, modules and components.
Among other your task is also the selection of standard interfaces based on different requirements such as performance, stability, security and the specification of data models.
Creation of programming and design guidelines.
Support non-functional-requirements creation as well as support the implementation and test of these requirements.
Execute code reviews.
Your also create technical documentation like operational handbooks and high-level design documents.

Qualifications

Education:
University degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent or degree in business with strong technical background

Experience and specific knowledge:
Serveral years of experience in software development, software configuration and administration
Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and delivery
Experience in Software development of web applications
Experience in the area of financial services is beneficial
Ideally you know the Daimler methods processes and tools

IT skills:
Deep know-how in development of 3-tier applications and technologies, single-page applications, Java, HTML5, AngularJS, PHP, Zend, Opensource frameworks, Oracle databases
Deep know-how of IT Architecture (i.e. SOA), IT Service Management (i.e. ITIL and/or COBIT) and know-how of current IT technologies

Language skills:
Fluent in German and English
Knowledge of additional languages beneficial

Soft skills:
Distinctive communications skills
Social competence and empathy are your strengths, which you will use when working with your stakeholders and business partners
