Financial Institutions Group Frankfurt (FIG Frankfurt) is a team of experienced investment bankers covering the client portfolios of institutional clients comprising banks, insurance companies, SSA (sovereigns, supras and agencies) and Asset Managers in Germany and Austria. The range of tasks encompasses the analysis of client relationship with respect to product utilization, profitability, cost of capital and earning potential. Based on that, the team identifies opportunities through in-depth knowledge of the industrial, commercial, and financial strategy of its clients. It develops, in coordination with other business lines, a business flow with those clients, whether for flow-investment activities or origination-type transactions from the conceptual to the delivery stage. It optimizes the bank's balance sheet utilization by cross selling and leveraging the full spectrum of expertise as well as product offering of the bank. Typical transactions encompass credit, bond-related products, securitization, commercial banking, and derivative-related products.
Your main missions will be to:
- Assist Senior Bankers in preparing strategic presentations as well as corporate finance and product analyses for client meetings and projects ;
- Support and follow up on customer topics in close co-operation/co-ordination with SBs, the Relationship Manager, Credit Department and Product Lines ;
- Active handling of ClientLife: reporting, assessments, profitability measurements and analyses, updating client facts and information ;
- Research activities: Thomson, Factiva, Amadeus, Datastream, Capital IQ, Internet, client-, market-, and segment and client relevant financial product analyses ;
- Preparation of the yearly IMF meetings ;
- Support with regard to KIWIS/KYC duties and activities.
