missions
VIE Position for 2 years in SQM (Supplier Quality Manager) department in Grünstadt (close to Mannheim, Germany).
Working in the supplier quality management (SQM) department for the productline “turbocharger”.
Three main responsibilities: Project SQM, SQM-Serial production (SP) and support SQM-Component Introduction (CI)
Project-SQM
- Interface between internal project team (R&D, Purchasing, Project Management…) and SQM department
- Follow-up of initial sample submission dates and reporting status to project team
- Escalation to the project team and head of SQM in case of red alarm
- Tracking and update of SQM KPIs
SQM-SP Serial Production
- Interface between production location and Grünstadt
- Initiating of deviation approvals according plant or supplier requests
- Follow-up of supplier 8D-Reports and tracking of claims in SAP
- Update of PPM-Supplier-Reporting
SQM CI (support for component introduction)
- Direct work with suppliers
- Inspection of initial sample documents (according PPAP or VDA 2) of suppliers
- Inspection of supplier project status documentation with B2B-Portal SupplyOn
Education:
- Mechanical Engineering or similar (Master)
- Flexibility
- Very good knowledge in MS Office
- Knowledge in statistical software (e.g. QS-Stat, MiniTab) is advantageous
- English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1)
