ABOUT THE ROLE

The main mission of the Global Management Reporting & Analysis team is to provide worldwide consolidated data for each financial cycles, which are the basis for analyses and presentations to senior management. These cycles include quarterly and annual closings, the monthly sales flash, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and annual budget, for Chanel and non-Chanel activities.

In this context, you will participate in all reporting cycles and more specifically lead the headcount and structure cost consolidations. You will also be involved in some other tasks, like analytical reviews, testing after updates on our reporting tool, documenting activities and helping to prepare process guidance. Your role will be to review the submissions, ensure good data quality, and provide analysis in close collaboration with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

You will also be part of discussions regarding processes, rules or guidelines in partnership with the FP&A team.

This role at Global Corporate is central and highly connected to each region and division, as well as to other functions like Legal Reporting, FP&A, or Global Data Governance as it requires a collaborative work on planning, processes, and data.

IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

·  Review of data submissions for certain regions, to assure & improve quality and process effectiveness.
·  Consolidation of Heads/FTEs/Structure costs for all reporting cycles where it is required.
·  Contribute to the development of our Reporting tool (TM1 IBM Planning Analytics), including the addition of non-Chanel activities.
·  Development of improved reporting to provide greater visibility of performance for senior management to assist with decision-making.
·  Participation and assistance in developing presentations with the FP&A team.
·  Involved in analysis and discussions related to these topics, with the regions, divisions and Global FP&A.
·  Working in a high paced environment, having the ability to adapt to changing priorities and the aptitude to take on ad-hoc tasks and new challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING/HAVE

·  Strong experience in consolidation or FP&A which demonstrates an understanding of the importance of accurate reporting.
·  Good data visualization skills, helping in the decision-making process.
·  Enviable organisation skills.
·  Curiosity, creativity.
·  Evidenced strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Ability to work in a collaborative mode with many stakeholders.
·  TM1 IBM Planning Analytics system experience would be very valuable.
·  Capacity to make the organization evolve to optimise our efficiency within the wider FP&A department.
