Workforce Staffing Specialist

Position Description
The Salesforce Workforce Staffing Specialist oversees the resource allocation process for Digital Platforms/Salesforce Projects and Workshops within the ETP (Emerging Technology Practice). The Salesforce Workforce Staffing Specialist reports to the Digital Platforms VP. This role requires someone who is highly organized and has the ability to establish relationships with members and managers, and has strong communication, listening and analytical skills. In addition, the Salesforce Workforce Staffing Specialist is expected to demonstrate a high level of competence in the delivery of the roles and responsibilities listed below:

Roles and responsibilities:
• Oversee the workforce allocation process for DP/Salesforce Projects and Workshops
• Track workforce needs based on pending Sales opportunities and closed business for DP/Salesforce opportunities.
• Balance the work assignments across the DP/Salesforce team, taking into consideration skills, level of experience, geographic location, development objectives of the consultants, financial ramifications, and their existing allocations.
• Coordinate weekly efforts to keep people as billable as possible through awareness and communication
• Work closely with each Manager responsible for the SA's, Developers, Admins and PM's when coordinating assignments for their people
• Work closely and coordinate efforts with other CGI resource options. i.e Montreal, Portugal, India
• Work closely and coordinate efforts with staffing Partners
• Provide input, as appropriate, regarding resources to influence hiring, promotion and termination decisions
• Participates in all Internal Onboarding calls for new projects

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience working on Salesforce consulting projects
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills
• Highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Skills in complex problem solving, judgement, critical thinking and decision making
• Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment, under time pressure and on several tasks at the same time
• Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures
• Demonstrated experience creating and analyzing workforce planning data
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team, other departments, vendors, and outside agencies, including being sensitive to professional ethics.
• Ability and willingness to learn new software applications

Preferred qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical related field
• 2-5 years experience in Workforce Management, preferably in departments with at least 40 employees.
• Salesforce Certifications are a plus
