We are currently looking to recruit for a Global Procurement and Supply Chain Controlling Specialist (m/f) at our location in Berlin

He / she supports the Head of Controlling Global Procurement & Supply Chain in developing, implementing and enforcing standard Finance processes, KPIs and best practices worldwide necessary to achieve the financial objectives of the function and of BT.

YOUR TASKS

Functional Costs: Actual Reporting, Forecast Budget
• Reporting of Actuals, analysis of variation vs. Budget/Forecast to find areas of issues, risks, opportunities in Functional cost Target Achievement
• Headcount Controlling per Site / Region and Best Cost Counties / High Cost Countries
• Support Head of Controlling in Budget and Forecast process
• Develop a rolling forecast tool to predict yearly costs of function based on HC development and specific NPR costs
• Analysis of Sites costs to create a KPI Dashboard

IGS / NPR Costs and Cash
• MEP - Savings and Avoidance Approval Process: business partnership with IGS initiatives leaders to fix financial rules/logics/KPI to allow an objective financial assessment for validation
• Supporting Business Case calculations and modeling for standard ad hoc saving validation
• Projects ODC: lead the Project to structure Actual and Budget accounting rules / principles in order to have a global standard accountability by Cost Category / Commodity Type and Function.
• Cash out: support to set-up a tool for reporting/forecasting consumption vs. cost vs. cash; Optimization of BI reporting and validation of assumptions;

Material Controlling on Projects
• Support Head of Controlling in defining and optimizing Material Planning on Projects (Roles and Responsibilities of Project Controller and Business Material Planning)
• Interface with Controllers in Regions to identify best practices in Material Planning
• Support in implementation / roll out of common tools
• Link with Cash-out forecasting model
• 3% CBOM: continuous monitoring and challenging of Procurement Saving Reported with ROP (PPRS) and G4 (EAC); analysis of Savings achieved (negotiation)
• Supply Chain Controlling
• Support Head of Controlling in setting-up the Controlling model for Supply Chain
• Interface with Controllers in Regions to identify specifics and to develop the standardization of controlling model

Desired profile

Qualifications

- Degree in Finance or Business Administration

- 3+ years of Controlling experience

- Solid knowledge of Bombardier accounting method and reporting processes

- Sound analytical skills and the ability to consolidate conclusions and recommendations

- Good communicator with people from a variety of organizations, cultures and for whom English is not the first language

- Modeling skills for business cases

- Fluency in English, German language is considered an added plus
