We are looking for experienced IT professionals in Telecommunications area for our location in Brasov, Romania.

The person must have qualification and knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of IT infrastructure operations, along with abilities in software development and integration.

Job Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field;
· At least 5 years’ experience in service management environment
· At least 3-5 years’ experience in operations management role
· Proven account management and client service expertise
· Previous experience in international environment
· Creative and innovative but pragmatic
· Professional experience in: IT-infrastructure planning, installation and operation, software development – at least 3 years proven experience;
· Knowledge:
· Databases operation (MySQL, MS-SQL);
· Network related services (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls…), IP administration (DHCP, DNS…);
· Server related operations (Windows, Linux, virtualization, backup…)
· Foreign Languages:
· very good command in English;
· good command in German would be a plus;

Main responsibilities:

· Is responsible for ensuring that departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) are within specified limits. Monitors the integrity and confidentiality of information delivered to and sent by users, the levels of service performance such as throughput, availability and response time, and the timely and effective handling of enquiries and requests for guidance or action on problems.
· Takes responsibility for tasks and areas of substantial value in installing, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of local and wide area networks for the communication of data, voice, text, images or video.
· Takes responsibility for the staff that administer the procurement of equipment, software, transmission and other services for the operational communication networks.
· Plans network changes and manages the change management procedure. Takes responsibility for a team or teams of staff managing installations of and upgrades to communications networks.
· Responsible, with the Installation and Implementation Function, for the methods and procedures used for planning, installing, configuring, commissioning, monitoring and investigating the operational network. Initiates procedural improvements where necessary.
· Manages one or more call handling centres.

Additional Information

· Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines;
· Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
