DESCRIPTION

Expert in the transportation function (inbound and outbound). Independently defines processes considering long-term sustainability and repeatability. Handles escalations and takes ownership of projects/tasks beyond core responsibilities. May be assigned as a formal coach/mentor. Works as a team lead.

Required
· Executes important tasks/activities independently.
· Manages escalations on routine/predefined tasks.
· Identifies day-to-day operational problems, suggests tactical solutions and executes priority projects to improve team performance.
· Responsible for goals related to productivity, quality, and training metrics.

· Analyzes data and is responsible for highlighting gaps, recommending solutions, and influencing inter-function decisions.
- Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel based tools. Able to create tables to analyze and present data.
· A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon work experience.

Preferred qualifications

· Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or related field.
3+ years' work experience in logistics/transportation industry.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· Fluent in English and one other European language (German, Polish, Italian, French or Spanish).
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent with excellent academic record, with Logistics/Supply Chain/ Mathematics/Science/Engineering subjects
· Ability to work in a dynamic environment
· Proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these finding in a review forum.
· Strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
