AWS has over 1M active customers all over the world, over 120 services, and tens of thousands of partners. The business is growing rapidly, so amplifying and scaling technical knowledge and insights to (and from) our partners and customers is a critical need and a big opportunity. One way we achieve this goal is through technical content creation (e.g. whitepapers, reference architectures, videos, solutions). Digital Media (videos, podcasts, blogs, and digital magazines) is a key channel for AWS technical knowledge, and we are building our Digital Media Series program to reach more customers and scale technical knowledge globally.
We are looking for an experienced leader to create a global AWS Digital Media Series vision and strategy, and to build a team to execute the strategy by designing and delivering a number of media programs, working with our internal technical stakeholders on an orchestrated set of technical videos, podcasts, blogs, digital magazines, and other digital media products. You have an opportunity in this role to reach a massive, global audience through various mediums.
You will ensure that Digital Media Series content is aligned with our AWS technical content priorities and meets customer needs. You will work closely with leaders throughout AWS to ensure we have the best, cutting edge content topics, and will partner with Marketing to ensure effective promotion of Digital Media Series assets. You will also work closely with partners and customers to line up compelling stories that can be communicated effectively through this program. And you will define metrics and processes to ensure these assets are meeting the needs of our internal and external customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
· Design and execute a compelling vision and strategy for the AWS SA Media Series program
· Build and lead a team of Media Series program managers and specialists, who will lead the programming and global execution of each Media Series channel.
· Manage the production of technical Media Series asset creation within the Solutions Architecture function and across AWS.
· Partner with Marketing on the strategy and execution of the promotion of technical Media Series assets.
· Define the metrics and processes for determining effectiveness around Media Series asset creation.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree or 10 years equivalent work experience
· 7-10+ years of digital media strategy and planning experience
· 5+ years producing and curating technical content for a major technical organization
· Well versed in measurement and analytics, specifically with media assets
· Hands-on production and editing experience . . . .
· Experience leading and fostering customer relationships
· Experience leading teams with direct performance management accountabilities
· Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional projects via impact and influence and collaboration (vs direct authority)
