Machine Learning is changing how Amazon operates, from Drones, Robotics to stores without checkout lines. The CoreML team is a unique center of excellence, working on solving challenging ML problems across Amazon. Are you passionate about Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence?

The team is part of the Apache MXNet developer community. Apache MXNet is an open-source, deep-learning framework, endorsed by Amazon Web Service (AWS). Enabling the smooth delivery and continuous integration of MXNet on a variety of operating systems and hardware platforms will be the core responsibility of this role.

In your role, you take responsibility for the conception, implementation and automation of IT systems and thus guarantee an end-to-end support of the development team. This development team comprises primarily of the open-source community backing MXNet. You are responsible for the process of deploying the infrastructure components and are actively supporting the installation, configuration and maintenance of your solutions.

During development and commissioning, you ensure the technical quality of the implemented solution. In doing so, you pay particular attention to compliance with security standards, the provision of a stable system, careful documentation and keep computation spend in mind. You advise and coach the development and scientists team in topics relating to infrastructure, scheduling, monitoring and deployment. Additionally, you will provide the community with tools to measure and improve power usage as well as Deep Learning model performance specifically on Edge devices. This includes power usage monitoring & deep learning model performance tracking over time.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration / Testing Automation
· Expertise in practices and IT operations in highly-available services
· Basic computer science knowledge
· Good Amazon Web Services experience
· Intermediate / Advanced programming skills in one or multiple scripting languages
