Team Description

We are a department responsible of the specifications and validation of critical middleware applications and tools running in the heart of major travel industry software, written in multiple programming languages.

Main Responsibilities

Context

Have you ever been requested to voluntary introduce bugs in your application?

Amadeus has many QA engineers participating to test activities on their applications.

Today, there is no easy way for them to train their skills on the various test techniques.

The approach proposed here is to create a fake application containing different kind of bugs, put on purpose, this for a training or a competition purpose.

Intern Mission

Intern mission will be to participate to the definition, design, and implementation of a fake application.

The application will be designed to:

- Train tester or to be used in a test competition.

- Contain many ‘specified bugs’ of different types, from functional to security, performance to usability...

- Be enjoyable, funny ,didactic for the user in the spirit of gamification

This application would need to have simple standard web architecture, with a graphical interface and a server part. The technology choice will be driven by recent technologies like python for the server part and angularJS for the UI one.

Intern will have support of experts in test and development activities to work on this project. He will have the opportunity to discover both the testing and coding worlds.

Requirements

Good Software development skills

· Object-Oriented programming & web technologies

· python, javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, AngularJS

· git

Graphical interface design skills

Good communication skills

Knowledge of software development lifecycle

Fluent in English

Curious, innovative and fast learner

Interesting by Software Quality and testing activities is a plus
