JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Damage Investigation
Carry out root cause investigations including the management of lab investigations in our cooperation lab under consideration of quality, customer satisfaction, profitability.
Appoint / monitor 3rd parties especially in the field of non-destructive testing, lab services, technical.
Support AGCS/Allianz claims engineers with technical know-how e.g. by reviewing loss adjustor reports, participating in claims negotiations, etc.

Risk Consulting Support
Support AGCS pre-loss engineers for specific technical issues
Support and organize technical trainings, client events and workshops

Support of the AGCS and Allianz Zentrum für Technik (AZT) reputation
Develop and deliver technical publications and technical presentations at industry conferences
Follow up and engage in research projects with universities and industry
Support Market Management and Communication to foster AGCS and AZT reputation
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Material Science
At least 3 years' experience in the power industry (conventional or renewable)
Certified welding engineer education is a plus
Experience in non-destructive testing and/or quality assessment
Experience in the calculation and design of pressurized parts and welded components
Experience in the commissioning of pressurized components
Experience with damage investigations and insurance
Openness to deal with commercial and insurance aspects of claims and insured risks to be able to support in claims adjustments and pre-loss activities
Strong collaboration and communication skills:
Report writing and Presentation skills
Fluent German, English, other languages are a plus
Able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally
